Police officers neutralized a suspect in a robbery in the Binagadi district of Baku, Report informs citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Thus, the police received information that an unknown person committed a robbery on one of the houses in the Binagadi district of the capital.
Law enforcement officers quickly arrived at the scene and the suspect, having put up armed resistance, tried to escape. The attempt was thwarted by police officers and the attacker, while maintaining the safety of the residents of the house, was neutralized using a service weapon.
It was established that the act was committed by Eldaniz Mammadhuseyn oglu Shukurov, who had previously been convicted multiple times under various articles of the Criminal Code. A Makarov pistol, which was the weapon used in the crime, was also found and seized at the scene.
An investigation is underway into the fact.
