Presentation of the monograph of I.M. Rahimov, a member of IOLR

In the Baku State University was presented a monograph “Crime and Punishment” of a member of the International Organization for  Legal Researches, Doctor of Juridical Sciences, Professor and Honored Lawyer of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Mamedhasan oglu Rahimov.

 The well-published work highlights the non-trivial questions about the nature and causes of crime, substance, forms and types of criminal punishment, the limits of justice and a state’s role in ensuring the rule of law.

At the presentation have made a speech ​​the rector of BSU, academician Abel Maharramov, corresponding member of ANAS Doctor of Juridical Sciences, Professor Myasma Melikova, Doctor of Juridical Sciences, Honored Lawyer of Russian Federation, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Colonel General of Justice Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the legislation Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vladimir Pligin, the First Deputy of Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Rustam Usubov, Head of the criminology Department of BSU, Doctor of Juridical Sciences, Professor Kamil Salimov and others.

The presentation was attended by most of those who have supported Ilham Rahimov after his departure from the Azerbaijan Institute of Forensic Expertise and a small part of those who are ready to be useful to the Professor at the present time.
