An armed attack was made on the house

An armed robber entered one of the houses in the Amirjan settlement in the Surakhani region, Report news agency reported citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to information received by the police, in the course of the robbery, the offender struck V. Vakhidov, who was in the house, on the head with the butt of his gun.

As a result of operational activities carried out by employees of the Surakhani District Police Department, a resident of Baku, Takhir Huseynov, suspected of committing a robbery, was detained. His gun was confiscated.

In fact, a criminal case was initiated in the Surakhani District Police Department under Article 181 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
