Prosecutor General’s Office on misappropriation of state property by officials

Based on the citizen’s appeal, the Gobustan District Prosecutor’s Office conducted an investigation into the illegal actions of officials of the Gobustan Central District Hospital legal entity of public law, oxu.az reports with reference to the General Prosecutor’s Office.

As a result of the investigation, reasonable suspicions arose that officials of this medical institution had embezzled state property on a large scale. On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under article 179.3.2 (misappropriation or embezzlement on a large scale) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The investigation is ongoing.
