Suspect detained in kidnapping of the safe box with money

A suspect in a robbery in a store in Ganja has been detained, oxu.az reports with reference to the regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

According to official information, as a result of the activities carried out by the employees of the State Unitary Enterprise, Nijat Abdullayev (born 1994), suspected of committing this crime, was detained and handed over to the investigation.

The attacker, having come to the store, wounded a 69-year-old security guard with a blunt object, wrapped his arms and legs with adhesive tape. Then he took out a safe containing 157,151 manats, 6,040 dollars and 18,100 rubles from the store and buried it nearby.
