Ombudsman: 69 pardon orders, 12 amnesty acts have been signed so far
So far, 69 pardon orders and 12 acts of amnesty have been signed, APA reports citing Ombudsman Sabina Aliyevua. The Ombudsman noted that the document signed today is the most extensive clemency order in terms of scope.
She noted that at the request of the Ombudsman, 864 people have been pardoned so far. By this order, 59 convicted persons were pardoned at the request of the Ombudsman.
