Suspect detained for stealing large sums of money and gold jewelry

The police received information that 2,100 manats, as well as gold jewelry worth 3,500 manats, were stolen from one of the houses located on the territory of the Bakikhanov settlement in the Sabunchu district of the capital under unclear circumstances, oxu.az reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs .

Thus, as a result of operational-search activities carried out by police officers, a resident of the capital Jeyhun Aliyev, who was previously convicted of theft, was identified and detained.

The matter is under investigation.
