Reduced number of crimes against military service

Compared with the first four months of 2022, the number of crimes against military service registered in the corresponding period of 2023 decreased by 4.1%, APA reports quoting Senior Assistant to the Military Prosecutor of the Republic – Head of the Press Service of the Military Prosecutor’s Office, Senior Counselor of Justice Firad Aliyev.

According to him, the number of crimes related to violation of the statutory rules of relations between military personnel in the absence of subordination relations between them decreased by 33.3%, the number of crimes related to military service evasion – by 57.8%, the number of crimes related to unauthorized leaving a military unit or place of service – by 61.9%, the number of crimes related to premeditated killings – by 50%.
