Investigation launched into taking bribe at drug treatment center

The relevant subdivision of the Ministry of Health conducts an internal check within its powers, reports Oxu.Az. The Ministry appealed to law enforcement agencies in connection with the fact of receiving a bribe for issuing a certificate at the Baku City Narcological Center without a doctor’s examination and laboratory testing.

An investigation is currently underway, in accordance with the law. The fact will be given a legal assessment, and the perpetrators will be punished.

The Prosecutor General’s Office reported that the incident would be carefully studied and an appropriate decision would be made against those responsible.
