President Ilham Aliyev: International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition helps Azerbaijan present potential to international investors

For almost 30 years, since 1994, the Caspian Oil and Gas International Exhibition has been helping Azerbaijan present its potential to international investors.

According to Trend, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said this, in particular, speaking at the official opening ceremony of the 28th Caspian Oil and Gas International Exhibition and the 11th Caspian Energy and Green Energy International Exhibition – Caspian Power in Baku Expo center.

“In 1994, the foundation of Heydar Aliyev’s oil strategy was laid. This year we are celebrating the centenary of the birth of the founder of independent Azerbaijan. 1994 was not only the year of the first International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition, but also the year of signing the Contract of the Century,” the head of state noted.
