Chairmen of municipalities fined for environmental pollution

In the Guba region, the chairmen of two municipalities were fined for environmental pollution, Report informs citing the Guba regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Thus, employees of the Guba district police department in the villages of Alekseevka and Khudzhbala revealed facts of non-compliance with environmental protection requirements when storing and burning industrial and domestic waste.

For violation of the requirements of Article 271 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (non-compliance with the requirements for environmental protection when storing and burning industrial and domestic waste), administrative penalties were taken against the heads of rural municipalities.
