Smuggling of a large consignment of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan prevented

On July 27, 2023, at 10:50 am, smuggling of narcotic drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan was prevented at the service area of the border outpost of the Goytepe border detachment of the border troops of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan (SBS), located near the village of Melikgasimli, Jalilabad region, oxu.az reports citing at the press center of the State Border Service. As a result of the border search and operational measures, 8 kg 200 g of marijuana, 1,725 tablets of the potent drug Pregabalin-150 and 12 Golden wolf tablets were found and seized in one package.
