A criminal case was initiated on the fact of misappropriation of funds in a district hospital

The Yevlakh District Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation after the appeal of citizens in connection with illegal acts in the Yevlakh Central District Hospital, Report informs citing the district prosecutor’s office.

As a result, reasonable suspicions were established that the officials of the medical institution misappropriated state budget funds for a total amount of more than 73,000 manats by accruing wages to employees in excess of the amount prescribed by law, as well as accruing wages to people who do not go to work.

In fact, a criminal case has been initiated in the district prosecutor’s office under article 179.3.2 (large-scale embezzlement), an investigation is underway.
