Two robbers detained by policemen in Baku

Two people were detained in Baku by police officers for attempting to rob a taxi driver, Report informs. The incident took place on the territory of the Sabunchu district.

According to information, two unidentified people got into a taxi and, threatening the driver with a knife, demanded money from him. The taxi driver managed to escape from the car and report the incident to the police on duty in the territory.

Ismayilov Cherkez Fuzuli oghlu, an employee of the Sabunchi district police department, and his partner detained the robbers. During the arrest, one of them stabbed himself and a police officer.

The fact is being investigated.
