Another unhindered crossing of the Lachin BCP by the Armenian residents of Karabakh

Today, on August 12, 2023, another crossing of the Armenian residents of Karabakh through the Lachin checkpoint in the direction of Khankendi-Gorus took place, Trend reports. The Armenian residents of Karabakh have crossed the border in the direction of Armenia without hindrance.

Thus, in the direction of Khankendi-Gorus, a total of 9 vehicles belonging to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), 30 people (including 3 members of the ICRC, 9 drivers, 10 patients, 7 accompanying persons, 1 medical worker).

It should be noted that persons of Armenian origin can freely cross the Lachin BCP at any time of the day. The Azerbaijani side has created all the conditions for their free passage through the BCP.

This once again proves that there are no obstacles on the part of Azerbaijan for passing through the BCP on the state border. Armenia’s statements and actions regarding the border are purely provocative.
