37kg of silver found in truck transporting cotton fiber waste

At the Shakhtakhty customs post of the Nakhchivan Main Customs Department, a vehicle carrying cotton fiber waste from Iran to Turkey was inspected in transit through the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Qafqazinfo reports.

Thus, during the inspection, silver of the 990th sample in 11 ingots, as well as in the form of scrap in 14 foil bundles, with a total weight of almost 37 kg and a value of 41.436 Azerbaijani manats was found and seized in the recesses of the front parts of the trailer of the truck.

The matter is under investigation.
