Another attempt by Armenians to install fortifications in Azerbaijan was prevented

On August 17, 2023, at about 11:55 am, Armenian illegal armed formations on the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily stationed, attempted to install long-term fire support fortifications under the guise of agricultural work in front of the positions of the Azerbaijani army located in the Khojavend region, Trend reports with reference to to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

As a result of the immediate measures taken by the units of the Azerbaijani army, the work was immediately stopped, and the positions of the Armenian illegal armed groups that provided fire support to these works were suppressed.
