A criminal case was initiated in connection with violations in the central district hospital of Fizuli

A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the offenses identified in the activities of the legal entity of public law “Central District Hospital of the city of Fizuli”, Report informs citing the press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office.

Thus, on the basis of an appeal received regarding violations recorded in the indicated hospital, an investigation was conducted in the district prosecutor’s office, during which it was established that in the period from January 1, 2020 to March 2023, certain officials of family health centers subordinate to the legal entity and medical – medical centers, including the Fuzuli Medical and Diagnostic Center, merged with a legal entity of public law, employees were paid in excess of the wages stipulated by law, medical equipment was sold, and serious suspicions of theft and embezzlement of state property were revealed by writing off fuel in excess of the norm on balance transport hospital funds and other means.

On this fact, the prosecutor’s office of the Fuzuli region initiated a criminal case under the relevant article of the Criminal Code, and an investigation is underway.
