Suspect persons of theft from a store and a payment terminal were detained

Brothers were detained in Lerik, suspected of stealing from a store and a payment terminal installed inside, Report informs citing the Lankaran regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Thus, the police received information about the theft of 160 manats of cash, tobacco products in the amount of 1,244 manats from a store located in the village of Noda, Lerik region, another 2,880 manats from a payment terminal installed there, as well as damage to the storage device of video surveillance cameras.

As a result of joint operational-search activities carried out by employees of the Main Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Lerik District Police Department, persons suspected of committing theft were identified and detained. During the investigation, it turned out that they were residents of the Garadagh district of the city of Baku, Tahmaz Dadashov and his brother Bahadir.

By a court decision, a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen for both persons.

In fact, the necessary investigative measures are being carried out in the Lerik district police department.
