Electronic security service about hacking user accounts in social networks

Recently, there have been massive cases of hacking of user accounts in WhatsApp and other social networks, oxu.az reports citing the Electronic Security Service. According to the Service, this happens as a result of interception at the level of international SMS operators of OTP confirmation codes sent to users.

In this regard, the question arises of how the above process occurs.

Information technology expert Elvin Abbasov said that such cases are usually observed when transferring a WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram account from one device to another. He noted that all human social media accounts can be hacked by attackers. If such problems arise, you should immediately contact the Electronic Security Service.
