Family members of persons missing during the First Karabakh War visited Shusha

Family members of those missing during the First Karabakh War visited a mass grave discovered on the territory of the Shusha prison, reports APA’s Karabakh bureau. With the organizational support of the Public Association “Families of Missing Persons in Karabakh”, relatives of missing persons visited a mass grave discovered on the territory of the Shusha prison.

Visitors were informed that a mass grave on the territory of the Shusha prison was discovered in June 2023. Then, as a result of excavations carried out from August 1 to 15 of this year, human remains were discovered on the territory of the Shusha prison, allegedly belonging to 17 individuals.

In total, about 50 family members of missing persons are taking part in the trip.
