Free passage through the BCP “Lachin” continues for people of Armenian origin living in Karabakh

The free passage of people of Armenian origin living in Karabakh through the border checkpoint (BCP) of Lachin continues, APA reports. Thus, on September 5, 2023, a total of 29 people in 9 vehicles belonging to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) passed through the Lachin border checkpoint in the direction of Khankendi-Gorus.

Of these, 4 are ICRC employees, 9 drivers, 9 patients, 6 attendants and 1 medical worker.

This once again shows that the statements of the Armenian side that the Lachin road is closed are unfounded. The Lachin border checkpoint is open for humanitarian purposes.
