During the re-investigation of the Terter case, 18 people were brought to criminal responsibility

The General Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan is investigating criminal cases related to torture of military personnel, oxu.az reports with reference to APA and the head of the Investigation Department Nemat Avazov, who spoke during a live broadcast on the Instagram account of the supervisory agency.

According to him, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev entrusted the investigation of this case to the Investigation Department of the General Prosecutor’s Office. N. Avazov noted that investigative teams were again formed in the case, investigations and interrogations were conducted. As part of the investigation, 18 people were brought to justice in four criminal cases. An investigation into certain facts is currently underway. An investigation has already been carried out against 45 people previously brought to criminal responsibility in this case. The criminal case against many of them was terminated on acquittal grounds.
