Delivering of 6 kg of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan was prevented

On September 12, 2023 at 13:00, on the service territory of the border outpost of the Goradiz border detachment near the village of Garaguvendikli, Imishli region, as a result of a joint operation and search activities carried out by the State Border Service (SBS) and the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, smuggling of narcotic substances was prevented by a common weighing 6 kg 210 grams from Iran to Azerbaijan, Report informs with reference to the State Border Service.

On these facts, operational investigative measures are ongoing.
