Turkey’s Prosecutor General visited Shusha and Fuzuli

A delegation in Azerbaijan led by Turkish Prosecutor General Bekir Sahin visited Shusha, Report informs citing the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The trip participants noted that they had the opportunity to visit Shusha after the glorious Victory won under the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, and said that they felt feelings of joy and pride while being on the historical land of Azerbaijan.

During the trip, the guests visited Jydyr-dyuzyu, the Yukhari Govhar Agha and Ashaghy Govhar Agha mosques, the Shusha fortress, the Ganja Gate and a number of other historical and cultural monuments. They also witnessed the consequences of vandalism that was committed during the years of occupation, and got acquainted with the large-scale construction and restoration work being carried out in the cultural capital of the country.

Members of the delegation also visited the Fizuli region. According to their reviews, the reconstruction work of the region, targeted and large-scale projects carried out in the area, residential areas and other social facilities erected in a short time made a great impression on them.

The guests also noted the importance of the brotherly country’s close participation in construction and restoration work in the region as a continuation of the spiritual and political support that Turkey provided during the Patriotic War.
