This year, over 7.5 thousand crimes related to drug trafficking were detected

In Azerbaijan, in January-August of this year, law enforcement agencies identified 7,598 criminal facts related to drug trafficking, Report informs, citing information released by the Working Group of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illegal Drug Trafficking.

It is noted that 2,659 crimes are related to the sale of narcotic drugs, 4,649 to the acquisition and storage of drugs, 260 to the cultivation of narcotic plants and 30 to other crimes in this category.
