Provocation of Armenians in the Aghdam direction was prevented – Ministry of Defense

On September 16, 2023, at approximately 13:00, illegal Armenian armed formations on the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily stationed, attempted to dig a trench in front of the positions of the Azerbaijan Army in the Aghdam direction for the purpose of engineering preparation, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan .

The Ministry notes that as a result of measures taken by units of the Azerbaijani army, the ongoing work was immediately stopped.
