European Court of corruption and arbitrariness is unmasked

The Court should be more responsible in approaching to the complaints of Azerbaijan citizens and to avoid actions that cast doubt on its high status and authority, said the participants of “round table” held in Baku that organized by “the Public Chamber”, a civil movement for democracy.

The “Zerkalo” newspaper writes that a reason for criticism of the ECHR became delaying in consideration of cases on Azerbaijan, the mass refusal to accept applications for consideration. In particular, the fact is when 10 May, 2012 at the same time it has been rejected 50 complaints.

A special criticism was subjected to a judge Linos Sicilianos from the Cyprus who knowing neither the Azerbaijani nor the Russian language has managed to consider one day more than 50 complaints which consisting of several tens of thousands of pages. According to the lawyer Avez Temirkhan it has not been here done without bribes from the Azerbaijan government.

It made a decision to apply a protest to higher bribe-takers in the European Court of corruption and arbitrariness.
