The arrest period of two people detained in the Abzas Media case has been extended

The arrest period of Elnara Gasimova and Farid Mehralizade, detained in the Abzas Media case, has been extended by 2 months, Report informs. The decision on this was made by the Khatai District Court.

It is noted that in November 2023, Abzas Media Director Ulvi Hasanli, Editor-in-Chief Sevinj Vagifgizi, Deputy Director Muhammad Kekalov and website employee Nargiz Absalamova were arrested and charged with group smuggling.
