A person who sold fake Formula 1 tickets to more than 30 people via Instagram detained

Employees of the Main Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have detained a person who sold fake tickets to the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. According to APA, this was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It is reported that during the operation conducted by employees of the Main Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, previously convicted Elmar Israfilov, who organized the sale of fake tickets to the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, was detained. It was established that he sold fake tickets online through profiles he created on the Instagram social network. Thus, E. Israfilov received financial profit by selling fake tickets to more than 30 people.

During the operational and technical measures, the illegal actions committed by the detainee were fully proven. The investigation into the fact is ongoing in the Main Department.
