MIA: 51 kg of drugs seized from illegal circulation over the past weekend

Law enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan seized 51 kg of drugs from illegal circulation over the past weekend, Report informs citing the press service of the MIA.

According to the information, during the operations conducted on September 14 and 15 in the country, a total of more than 6.2 kg of heroin, about 34 kg of marijuana, more than 7.3 kg of opium, about 3.1 kg of methamphetamine, and 1,600 methadone tablets were seized.

In addition, 59 bushes of cultivated hemp were found and destroyed.
