Suspects of 14,000 manat fraud detained

Suspects of fraud and theft have been detained in Baku, Report informs citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The police received information about the fraudulent appropriation of more than 14,000 manats belonging to three citizens.

As a result of operational activities by police officers, suspects of committing fraud, 34-year-old O. Gurbetli, 38-year-old A. Magerramov and 45-year-old S. Javadova, were detained.

In addition, police officers detained previously convicted 32-year-old T. Maksimov and 38-year-old E. Kazimov, suspected of stealing a mobile phone and four car tires worth a total of 480 manats.

An investigation is underway on both incidents.
