CPC of Azerbaijan does not provide a fair trial

CPC (Criminal Procedure Code) of Azerbaijan Republic does not provide the declared in it tasks, the basic principles and conditions of the criminal proceedings, contains contradictions and errors, eliminating of the constitutional guarantees rights and freedoms of individual.

This is the conclusion reached by the participants IV International Conference “Fair trial: Illusions and Reality”, that was held in Baku.

On results of conference was adopted a decision to apply to the lawyers of Azerbaijan for the proposals to reform the criminal procedure legislation.
