Gang preparing armed attack in Baku rendered harmless
A gang, who prepared an armed attack on the house of a Baku resident, has been rendered harmless, reports APA with reference to Baku City Main Police Office.
Baku residents — Rahib Huseynov (1986), ex-inmates Elshan Rahimov (1967), Natiq Yusifov (1977), Nahid Allahverdiyev (1991) and J.Ismayilov — who are suspected of preparing an armed attack on a citizen living at Neapol street on the night of November 10 was detained as a result of urgent preventive search operations carried out by the Yasamal District Police Office’s 29th unit, the Criminal Investigation Department.
During the initial investigative operations, 0.175 grams of heroin, a pair of gloves, one knife intended to be used as a cold weapon were seized from E.Rahimov, 0.176 grams of heroin, one knife intended to be used as a cold weapon from N.Yusifov, 0.178 grams of heroin, one Baikal MK 654 pneumatic pistol, one brass knuckles intended to be used as a cold weapon, one face mask from N.Allahverdiyev, 0.170 grams of heroin, one knife intended to be used as a cold weapon, one face mask from R.Huseynov, 0.161 grams of heroin and one knife intended to be used as a cold weapon from J.Ismayilov.
