In the first half of 2024, compensation for damage to property in the amount of more than 49.3 million manats was provided in criminal cases investigated by the prosecutor’s office, Report informs, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev said this at an expanded meeting of the board of the Prosecutor General’s Office. In connection with the upcoming parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, 1,048 people have currently been nominated for deputies, APA reports, citing Chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov.

The candidacies of 700 of those nominated were approved.
