The Main Directorate for Combating Drugs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs confiscated 120 kilograms of drugs from circulation last month, APA reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It is noted that in July of this year, employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Drugs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted 34 operations in the capitals and regions against illegal drug trafficking. As a result, 35 more members of the drug network were exposed and detained.

A resident of Goygol has been detained for drug trafficking, oxu.az reports with reference to the Ganja regional group of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Thus, during the operation carried out by the Goygol RUP officers, Eldeniz Agayev was detained. During a search of his house, marijuana was found in a plastic jar and matchboxes.

An investigation is underway into this fact.
