Azerbaijani courts in 2014

Azerbaijani courts reviewed more than 241,000 cases last year, said Chairman of the Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev, APA reports.

Rzayev noted that last year the number of vases reviewed increased by 72,000 compared to 2013. 229,000 out of 241,000 cases were civil and economic, and the rest were related to crimes and war crimes.

Many of the cases reviewed were due to civil work, divorcement and loans. Growth in the number of economic and civil cases stem from life activities of people.
