Court verdict for participation in illegal military groups

On May 20, 2015 the Baku Court on Grave Crimes concluded  hearing on the cases of two persons – Huseyn Mammadov and Nijat Abbasov – who have convicted for participation in illegal military groups in Syria, APA reports.

Under the court verdict, N. Abbasov is sentenced to 15 and H. Mammadov to 14 years in jail.

Agency notes that both convicts had been detained by the Ministry of National Security.
