Trial over militants of “Islamic state”

On November 16, 2015 at the Baku Court of Grave Crimes began hearing on the criminal case over Adilov Elshan Sardar oglu, accused of involvement in illegal armed units in Syria, reports haqqin.az.

At the trial presided by Judge Rauf Aliyev were updated personal details of the accused.

The next court hearing is scheduled for November 23.

Intrenet portal notes that in result of search operations conducted by the Ministry of National Security (MNS) this year there were detained Azerbaijani citizens Hasayly Shirhan Elhan oglu Mikayilov Rovshan Baba oglu Adil, Elshan Sardar oglu Hajiyev, Vugar Mehman oglu Eyyubov Azer Matlab oglu suspected of creating not provided for by the legislation Azerbaijani armed formations or groups, participating in their activities, equipping with arms, ammunition, explosives, military equipment, etc.

According to the facts Main Investigation Department of Ministry of National Security prosecuted under various articles of the Criminal Code. As preventive measure, there is chosen arresting form of abovementioned detainees.
