New arrests of Islamists

Special operation is continuing and arrests of Islamists in the village of Nardaran, haqqin.az reports.

There were detained two persons in respect of who are chosen an administrative arrest as a preventive measure.

According to information, activists Tural Rzayev and Sahil Allahverdiyev were sentenced to 25 days in jail and 22 respectively. At the same time, the  reasons for the arrest are not specified.

Internet portal notes that S. Rzayev was recently arrested for 15 days for taking part in a protest in front of Sabunchu District Police Office, where Islamists have resisted law enforcement officers.
