Seized a big shipment of smuggling prohibited goods

According to information of the State Customs Committee, at border of Azerbaijan and Georgia has discovered great amount of vodka and cigarettes, which was tried to deliver with illegal way, APA reports.

So, in compliance with operational information, which was received by the branch for combat to the customs offenders of Tovuz Customs Department, in course of conducted appropriate measures at “Sınıq Körpü” customs point were discovered at Azerbaijani citizens 100 1L, 147 bottles of 0.5L “Nemiroff” vodka, and also more than 20 000 pieces cigarettes of various brands.

There are conducted appropriate investigation actions in respect registered facts.
