Supreme Court did not satisfy a complaint of A. Insanov

On 9 June 2016 the Supreme Court examined a cassation complaint of Ali Insanov, a former Minister of Health, who is presently in custody.

The Court did not satisfy his complaint.

At hearings A. Insanov said that in connection with this decision he is going to lodge a complaint at European Court on Human Rights.

Agency notes that arrested in October 2005 A. Insanov was convicted for number of serious crimes and on April 2007 sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment.

In 2013 the ECHR recognized a violation of article 3 and para. 1 and 3 of article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights and satisfied his claims.

However, the decision of the European Court has not fulfilled yet.

The decision of the court of first instance remains into force.

On May of 2015 the lawyers of A. Insanov submitted a complaint in the Supreme Court.

There are few months remained till releasing of A. Insanov.
