Prosecutor seeks 14 years for accused of fighting in Syria

The Baku Court on Grave Crimes on Wednesday, 29 September 2016 resumed the trial of Zohrab Mammadov, an Azerbaijani citizen convicted of fighting in the ranks of the “Jaish al-Muhajireen wal-Ansar” armed organization operating in Syria, APA reports.

The public prosecutor demanded 14 years for Mammadov, noting that his crime has been proved completely.

The process will be resumed on October 5, 2016.
