Court process over the African wizard

The Baku Court on Grave Crimes continued the trial of Vanbo Aurelie, who accused of fraud, haqqin.az. reports.

In the course of the trial, under the chaired by Judge Rahib Salmanov, the state prosecutor read out the indictment.

Aurelie did not admit guilt for the charge. He noted that he was acquainted with the injured Mammad Mamedov and rented housing from him.

“This money was taken not by me, but by my fellow countryman Luma Cables. Mammad gave money to Luma, and he left Baku in January of 2017. After that, communication with him was interrupted. I met him in Baku as a fellow countryman” the accused said.

According to V. Aurelie, he did not receive 20 thousand dollars. And did not commit the crime indicated in the indictment.

The next court hearings is scheduled for June 5, 2017.
