Arrested for selling firearms

The 25th station of the Nizami District Police Department received operational information that a resident of Baku, Elkhan Soltanov, illegally carries firearms with him, oxu.az reports.

He was detained while trying to sell it for 2,000 manats. During the search, a Makarov pistol, 8 rounds of ammunition and a magazine were found on him. In his testimony, E. Soltanov said that he had acquired the pistol several years ago.

The materials collected on this fact were sent to the investigative department of the Nizami District Police Department, an investigation is underway.
