Prevented illegal import of medicines

The employees of the Western Territorial Main Customs Department at the customs post “Red Bridge” has stopped a Mercedes-Benz truck and questioned the driver, oxu.az reports, citing the State Customs Committee.
Despite the driver’s statement about the absence of any items subject to mandatory declaration in his vehicle, during the customs inspection, 1,161 packages and 1,294 cans of medicines of various names were found in the back of the vehicle.

This fact is under investigation.
