Prosecutor General’s Office: damages in the amount of more than 39 million manats were compensated for corruption crimes

“The investigation of 301 criminal cases against 492 persons who committed corruption offenses has been completed and sent to the courts for consideration,” the General Prosecutor’s Office said at a meeting, APA reports.

It is noted that in the past 2021, damages in the amount of 39 million 224 thousand manats were provided, and property in the amount of 101 million 373 thousand manats was seized. In accordance with the requirements of the current legislation, reimbursement of funds in the amount of 2 million 195 thousand manats was provided to the state budget.
