More than 12,000 crimes registered in Baku in 2021

More than 12,000 crimes have been registered in Baku in 2021, report.az internet news portal reports.

Thus, 12,761 crimes were registered by the bodies of internal affairs and the prosecutor’s office of Baku last year. Compared to the previous year, this is 2252 cases, that is, 21.4% more.

During 2021, the crime detection rate for the internal affairs bodies and the prosecutor’s office of the city of Baku amounted to 86.3%, which is 5.4% more than in the previous year.

Disclosure of all 50 premeditated murders registered in the city of Baku has been ensured.
