Severe judgement in a murder case

The Ganja Court for Grave Crimes sentenced Agil Mustafayev, accused of strangling his wife in the Barda region, oxu.az reports. He was sentenced to 10 years and 6 months in prison.

The incident occurred on July 25, 2021 in the Barda region. Agil Mustafayev (born 1983) strangled his wife Nargiz out of jealousy.

He was charged under article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
