Results of the fight against drug trafficking for ten months of the current year

For 10 months of 2021, law enforcement agencies in Azerbaijan revealed 286 facts of smuggling of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances into the country, the report.az information Internet portal reports with reference to the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illicit Drug Trafficking.

According to these facts, more than 2 tons 892 kg of various narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances were withdrawn from illegal circulation.

At the same time, on 328 facts of crimes committed by groups, 1 ton 672 kg of various types of narcotic drugs and 13,766 units of psychotropic substances were seized from illegal circulation.
